About me

I love connecting with people and having great conversations. I'm pretty romantic and also neurotic. I'm a good listener and I've been told I'm good at understanding people and showing them their virtues and good qualities. My passions are watching stories (movies, TV shows, plays), reading, writing, and exploring...books, forests, shopping malls, anything. I am a spiritual eclectic and a humanitarian and feminist, and am fascinated by people and cultures. I support equal rights and humanitarian and environmental causes. I am a skeptic but always willing to have an open mind. I love performing — dancing, acting, and singing. I deeply value my connections to other human beings.

I am double majoring in anthropology and theatre arts at Valdosta State University. I am convinced that anthropology can give anyone a fresh and empowering perspective on life. My dream is to direct films, drawing from my theatre experience and appreciation of theatrical traditions, with a powerful social and philosophical message, like Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Alfonso Cuarón do. I love to write and have composed several dozen poems, a number of essays, and currently have about six short stories in the works. I also have been developing some ideas for novels, stage plays, and screenplays, and have parts of them written. My biggest writing project is an examination of the mythology, culture, and philosophy explored through Joss Whedon's excellent shows "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "A
